The “zebras” walking along the roadside near the Turgen Gorge in the Almaty region of Kazakhstan have caused a lot of discussion on social networks. However, it later turned out that the owner of the animals had painted the white donkeys with safe paint to look like zebras in order to attract tourists.
The regional police have launched an investigation into the incident. According to preliminary data, the animals’ health was not harmed.
