Domestic flight ticket prices in Uzbekistan reduced by up to 20 percent

Ticket prices for domestic flights in Uzbekistan have been reduced by an average of up to 20 percent, effective October 16, 2026. It is reported that, in accordance with a presidential directive, the domestic aviation market, existing tariffs, and pricing mechanisms were analyzed. Proposals to optimize transportation costs were developed, and tariffs for domestic routes were revised through the collaboration of the Competition Committee and Uzbekistan Airways JSC.
This price reduction is expected to make air travel more affordable for the public, foster the development of domestic tourism, and expand connectivity between regions. Additionally, these changes will offer greater convenience for citizens when planning business trips and personal travel.
