🩵 Dolphins in mourning
One of nature’s most touching moments was captured in the Indian Ocean. Off the coast of Western Australia, a mother dolphin carried her dead calf on the surface of the water for six days.
Observers also noted that 14 other dolphins from the pod stayed close to the grieving mother, swimming beside her as if offering support.
According to experts, dolphins form strong emotional bonds, much like humans. After losing a calf, some mother dolphins have even been observed refusing to eat for several days.
