Documents signed by Dushanbe and Ashgabat became known

In total, 23 documents were signed in the presence of the heads of Tajikistan and Turkmenistan, including intergovernmental agreements in various fields

Presidents of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a Declaration on deepening the strategic partnership between the two countries.

The ceremony was held following the results of bilateral negotiations, the press service of the Tajik leader reported. In total, 23 documents were signed in the presence of the heads of state, including intergovernmental ones:

agreements between governments in the field of health care, cybersecurity, technical protection of information;

memorandums of understanding between the national banks, the Ministry of Labor and mutual partnership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs within the framework of international organizations;

"road maps" to expand cooperation in agriculture and cargo transportation.

Also during the talks, Rahmon and Berdimuhamedov discussed in detail a wide range of interstate relations between the two countries. The head of Tajikistan noted the steady dynamics of the development of cooperation between states in the political, trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian and other fields.

Rahmon and Berdimuhamedov agreed to focus on such areas as industrial cooperation, the energy and agricultural sectors, transport and communications. The leaders of the two countries also exchanged views on topical issues on the international and regional agenda.
