Doctors charged with Ramina Yagafarova's death sentenced

Two doctors from a private clinic found guilty of the death of TV journalist Ramina Yagafarova have been sentenced to criminal penalties. When Yagafarova came to visit her mother, who was being treated at a private clinic in September 2023, she went into anaphylactic shock from the drug "Tigeron" that she had brought with her due to her illness and died. The doctors, contrary to protocols, administered her with drugs that enhance the reaction and the narcotic substance "Promedol". The patient was also left unattended for 12 hours and eventually died. Both doctors were deprived of the right to work as resuscitators for 1 year and 6 months and sentenced to 4 years of restriction of liberty.

Ramina Yagafarova was a TV journalist who hosted the Russian-language programs "Svoimi glazami" and "Aktualno" on the "Dunyo boyal" TV channel.
