We all drink tea the wrong way. This is the opinion of the doctor of medical sciences, professor, valeologist Shukhrat Ergashev. According to him, drinking tea with meals disrupts the functioning of the human body. It turns out that tea should be drunk two hours after eating, a Podrobno.uz correspondent reports, citing data from the Ministry of Health. “Good nutrition starts with organizing a five-meal regimen. The pancreas produces various hormones and enzymes every three hours. Hormones are absorbed into the blood, and enzymes are used to digest nutrients in the intestines. Without five meals a day, the enzymes produced by the pancreas cannot fully perform their function and ultimately lead to dysfunction of other organs. That is why in many countries it is customary to eat five times a day," he said. According to the expert, many people say: "I barely have time to eat three times" or "after eating three meals, I gained so much weight that would be if I eat five times." "Timely proper nutrition does not take people much time, and the accumulation of excess weight in this case is a completely unreasonable judgment. Five meals a day does not mean that you must necessarily eat pilaf five times. All that is required is to abstain from eating hard-to-digest foods, fatty and fried foods. And three hours after breakfast, you can eat an apple or any other fruit," he added. Ergashev noted that an average person spends 5-6 minutes smoking one cigarette. However, it only takes 2 minutes to eat one apple. "Our people also have a habit of drinking tea during meals. This disrupts the functioning of the human body. During meals, you should not drink tea, but various juices or boiled water. And it is recommended to drink tea two hours after eating. Proper nutrition means eating healthy foods at the right time and in the right place," he said.
