Disney Casts Lead Roles for Live-Action “Tangled”

Walt Disney Pictures has officially announced the actors who will play the lead roles in the live-action adaptation of the beloved animated film Tangled (“Rapunzel: A Tangled Tale”).

The main character, Rapunzel, will be played by Teagan Croft, known for her role as Raven in the series Titans and for the Netflix film True Spirit. Her on-screen partner will be Milo Manheim, who will portray the charming and adventurous Flynn Rider. Manheim gained recognition for his performance in Disney’s Zombies.

The film will be directed by Michael Gracey, known for The Greatest Showman, with a screenplay by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, who worked on Thor: Love and Thunder.
