Director detained for sexually harassing student.
The director of one of the schools in Yukori Chirchik district of Tashkent region was detained for sending a message of erotic content to a student. In court, he pleaded guilty, saying he did it for "educational purposes" and expressed remorse. The student's legal representative, however, argued that he was not fit for the post of director and asked for a heavier punishment. According to the court decision, the 39-year-old director was sentenced to 5 days of administrative detention.
