Details of the Met Gala 2026 have been revealed

The details of the 2026 edition of the world's most prestigious fashion event, the Met Gala, have been announced. This year, the meeting of fashion, art and celebrities will once again amaze the audience. The event is scheduled for May 4, 2026.
This year, the Met Gala is dedicated to the theme of "Costume Art". This theme is closely related to the Costume Institute exhibition at The Metropolitan Museum of Art and explores the creative connection between clothing and the human silhouette.
Chairmen of the General Committee:
🔸 Beyoncé is a famous singer and fashion icon, who last attended the Met Gala in 2016 and this will be her first appearance in 10 years.
🔸 Nicole Kidman is an actress and a regular participant in fashion.
🔸 Venus Williams is a tennis star and a well-known figure on the fashion scene.
🔸 Anna Wintour is the global creative director of Vogue and the longtime chief organizer of the Met Gala.
Additional hosts: Designer Antony Vaccarello and actress Zoe Kravitz will lead the gala's host committee. The committee will include pop stars and fashion personalities
Sabrina Carpenter, Doja Cat, LISA (BLACKPINK), Misty Copeland, Elizabeth Debicki, Sam Smith and others.
About the exhibition: The exhibition "Costume Art" combines fashion and art - the Metropolitan Museum of Art's new Condé M. Nast Gallery will display together costumes and works of art from 5,000 years of history.
