Despite delays in CHP repairs, we will be ready for heating season - Ministry of Energy

ASTANA, August 22 - Sputnik. Despite the backlog of energy facilities in Kazakhstan from the repair schedules, the heating season will not be disrupted, Acting Minister of Energy Zhandos Nurmagambetov said.

"We draw attention to the fact that in some regions there is a delay in the repair schedule - we draw the attention of the akim, bring it to the attention of the prime minister. This does not mean that some work is not being carried out. We are always in touch with the head of the enterprise. To Unfortunately, this is happening," Nurmagambetov admitted at a briefing after a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.

According to him, the enterprises have problems with supplies and equipment.

"We connect other enterprises to organize the redistribution of spare parts to the warehouse. On these issues, we openly report that there is a delay. But this does not mean that we will disrupt the heating season," the speaker stressed.

Nurmagambetov once again assured that preparations for the heating season would be made on time, and repairs would be completed by October.

“There are enough funds, I think all the money will be spent on time, this will allow the heating season to pass safely,” he concluded.
