Deputy Governor of Shymkent Shot Dead

On the evening of April 21, an unknown person shot and killed Deputy Governor of Shymkent Ruslan Berdenov near the government building. He was reportedly shot three times. The deputy governor underwent surgery and is in critical condition. It is reported that the suspect in the crime was detained and placed in a temporary detention center. A criminal case has been opened on the fact of attempted murder. An investigation is currently underway.
