Death Toll from Floods in Bangladesh Rises to 54
In several regions of Bangladesh, heavy monsoon rains have caused large‑scale flooding, bringing the death toll to 54. Hundreds of thousands of residents have been evacuated to safer areas. Numerous homes, roads, and bridges have been submerged, while in some regions electricity supply and transportation have been disrupted.
