Death of Farhod Mannopov: Surgeon acquitted

The doctor who performed the surgical procedure that caused the death of blogger Farhad Mannopov was acquitted in court.

The court of Appeal found only the anesthesiologist guilty. According to court documents, he talked on the phone during the operation and did not notice that the patient's body temperature had risen. As a result, Mannopov lost consciousness and later died.
