The Chairman of the Khatlon region talked to both ordinary soldiers and officers about the comfort of the conditions provided for military service

Chairman of the Khatlon region Davlatali Said visited the military unit of the ground forces.

It is noted that Davlatali Said checked the conditions of service of ordinary soldiers and officers.

In addition, more than 8 tons of food was delivered to the unit: potatoes, onions, pumpkins, apples and prunes.

Such a supply of products was carried out as part of a one-time assistance to military personnel.

The chairman of Khatlon talked to the soldiers and asked about the current conditions of service. He was informed that the state of affairs in the military unit was acceptable.

At the end of the visit, the head of the region called on the servicemen to serve the Motherland with honor and dignity, and expressed his deep gratitude to their parents.

Earlier, Istaravshan intends to introduce a new method of attracting conscripts to the service. They intend to teach driving a car for free to all recruits who voluntarily come to the military registration and enlistment office.

Upon completion of the course, young people will receive a driver's license with the appropriate category.

Recall that the autumn conscription of young people for service in the Armed Forces of Tajikistan takes place from October 1 to November 30.

At the same time, according to the law, young people can be exempted from two years of service after paying a certain amount of money (about 28.5 thousand somoni in 2023) and participating in monthly fees.
