The Ministry of Health of Tajikistan sounded the alarm about the abundance of low-quality and harmful to the skin and health of decorative cosmetics in the region
Decorative cosmetics dangerous to health were destroyed in the Sughd region.
This was announced during a press conference by the head of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of Tajikistan in the region, Ilkhom Pulodzoda.
According to the data he provided, the total amount of seized materials amounted to 48 million somoni.
"During this period, the weight of the confiscated cargo is 55 tons," Pulodzoda stated.
According to him, all the detected cargo was destroyed due to lack of quality, as well as harm to health.
The head of the Ministry of Health in the Sughd region also announced the withdrawal of several types of medicines from the sale.
"During this period, sales of 3 brands of medicines worth 1.2 million somoni were stopped in pharmacies," he said.
Ilkhom Pulodzoda noted that the confiscated preparations consist of a "complex of vitamins, antibiotics and a drug like" Lidaks ".
So, low-quality products were imported from India and China.
