Four Tajik citizens – Dalerjon Mirzoyev, Saidakrami Rachabalizoda, Shamsidin Faridun and Muhammadsabir Fayzov – who were convicted of the March 22, 2024, terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall in the Moscow region, have been sentenced to life in prison. They were found guilty of preparing to commit terrorism, illegal possession of weapons and participation in the activities of a terrorist organization. They were also fined 990,000 rubles each. The attack left 149 people dead, 1 person missing and 609 injured.
Umidjon and Mustakim Soliyev, Shakhromjon Gadoyev, Zubaydullo Ismoilov, Khuseyn Hamidov, Muhammad Sharifzoda, Yakubjoni Yusufzoda, Nazrimad Lutfulloi, Jumakhon Kurbanov, Khusan Medov and Jabroil Aushev were also sentenced to life imprisonment.
Alisher Kasimov, who rented out a house to the perpetrators of the terrorist attack, was sentenced to 22 years and 10 months in prison. His apartment in the Moscow region was confiscated. Isroil, Dilovar and Aminjon Islamov, who sold them cars, were sentenced to 19 years and 11 months.
This situation led to an increase in raids on migrants in Russia.
