350 g caster sugar
0.5 teaspoon lemon juice
2 tablespoons cornstarch
Preparation:
For the dough, grate the margarine over the flour and mix. Then, add the sugar, sour cream, egg yolks and baking powder, kneading a soft dough. The finished dough is evenly spread on a baking sheet and baked in the oven. The cottage cheese, eggs and cornstarch are ground in a blender, spread on the baked pie and sent back to the oven. For the meringue of the cottage cheese pie, first beat the egg whites and gradually add the powdered sugar. Finally, add the lemon juice and cornstarch and beat again. Then, the meringue is spread over the cottage cheese and baked in the oven until golden brown. If desired, you can sprinkle the cottage cheese pie with powdered sugar!
