Correspondence education will be abolished

According to the presidential decree, starting from the 2025/2026 academic year, admission to correspondence education in higher education institutions will be suspended. Instead, approved part-time and other alternative forms of education will be gradually introduced.

The quota for admission to alternative education has been set at no more than 50% of the result of full-time education. Admission in excess of this norm will be considered a violation of license requirements.

Also, internal education quality control departments will be established in all higher education institutions.
