A convict with a TOPIK 6 score in Navoi Correctional Facility No. 4 is teaching Korean to other convicts.
He graduated from Chonbuk National University in South Korea in 2022 and is currently teaching about 50 convicts. Some students have reached TOPIK 2-3 levels in a short time and have reached the stage where they can take the exam. This initiative was launched as part of the “Second Chance” project.
Earlier, it was reported that a convict with an IELTS score of 8.5 is teaching English. The facility also offers courses in IT and other modern areas.
