Dushanbe authorities will pay more attention to bus drivers’ compliance with traffic rules, as well as to communication between drivers and passengers

In Dushanbe, complaints from residents of the capital about driving city buses were sorted out.

This was reported in the information department of the state utility institution "Dushanbe Transport Service".

It is noted that during a meeting of the working group with drivers, complaints from passengers about non-compliance with traffic rules were considered.

They also drew attention to the rather rude communication between drivers and townspeople.

However, during this meeting, successes in the development of urban transport in Dushanbe were also emphasized: a complete renewal of the capital’s vehicle fleet and a large-scale acquisition of modern buses and trolleybuses to improve the quality of movement.

Earlier it was reported that the Tajik company Malika TIB and the Russian Parus Electro intend to cooperate to create charging stations in Dushanbe. Thus, charging stations will be intended for electric buses and owners of electric vehicles.

Russia intends to develop transport corridors with Tajikistan

In addition, in the future the possibility of creating a service center for servicing electric charging equipment stations will be considered, the Russian trade mission added.

Let us recall that in the spring of 2023, the Tajik authorities started talking about expanding the use of electric vehicles in the country.

Thus, the press service of the lower house of parliament reported that the country has developed a law that exempts the import of electric vehicles into Tajikistan from paying tax and customs duties.

In addition, recently the chairman of the upper house of parliament, Rustam Emomali, agreed with his colleagues on the joint production of electric vehicles.
