Construction of a small nuclear power plant to be accelerated in Uzbekistan

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the presentation of the project for the construction of a small AES. The project is carried out at all stages under the supervision of IAEA, on the basis of advanced security requirements.

Azim Akhmedkhodjayev, the head of” uzsom", said that Uzbekistan has joined four international conventions on security of the IAEA. International inspections were carried out in the selected area and received positive reviews. Earlier, the "transmission" and the Russian corporation "Rosatom" signed an agreement on the construction of a large AES.
