Construction of a new eco-city begins near Bishkek

According to the press service of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the construction of the eco-city Shopokov has begun, a 20-minute drive from Bishkek.

President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic Temir Sariev took part in the capsule placement ceremony. It is noted that the city of Shopokov has become an attractive place for living and investment.

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic noted: “In connection with the western development of Bishkek, Shopokov is acquiring the status of a promising satellite city offering unique opportunities for growth and development.”

The total area of the project area is 8.5 hectares, of which 23% will be occupied by construction and more than 77% will be landscaped. A school, a kindergarten and a clinic for 450 places will also be built here.

The construction company, together with the Shopokovskaya Town Hall, will offer low-income families several apartments in a new residential complex.
