Compensation to be paid for teaching students individually at home

According to a new government resolution, amendments and additions have been made to several decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers.

Under the new rules, teachers who provide home-based individual education to students — including two or more students of the same age living at the same address — will receive a monthly travel compensation equal to one Basic Calculation Value (BCV).

The compensation will be paid if the distance from the school to the student’s residence is at least 1.5 km. If several teachers are assigned to the same student, the compensation will be distributed proportionally based on the number of actual teaching hours they conduct each month relative to the total number of hours outlined in the student's home education plan.

Additionally, when a teacher or medical nurse at a state preschool institution is temporarily absent from work, their duties will be assigned to another employee within the institution on a part-time (combined) basis through an internal order.

For this work, the employee will receive 100% of the salary for the completed duties (for other positions — 50%).
In such cases, the total workload of an employee working on a combined basis must not exceed 1.5 staffing units.
