Comedian Shukurullo Isroilov Appointed to a Government Position
Well-known comedian and wordsmith Shukurullo Isroilov has been appointed Deputy Head of the Tashkent City Department of Culture. Bekzod Bakhromov has been appointed Head of the department.
The new appointments were announced at a meeting with representatives of the capital’s culture and arts sector.
Shukurullo Isroilov was born on January 14, 1970. He graduated from a music school specializing in rubab, the Tashkent Institute of Arts with a degree in theatre, and the International Faculty of the Institute of Oriental Studies. Isroilov began his stage career in 1982. He has also worked in film and theatre.
