Citizen who helped catch criminal in Tashkent awarded 10 million soums

Earlier, we reported that a mentally ill man stabbed an internal affairs officer in the Yunusabad district of Tashkent. The criminal, in order to hide from the scene, got on a nearby bus with a knife in his hand. Then he was neutralized and arrested by officers of the patrol service serving in the area. Also, citizen Vladimir Avdiyans actively helped the internal affairs officers in catching him.
This case was specially recognized by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the citizen was awarded a “Gratitude of the Ministry of Internal Affairs” and a cash reward of 10 million soums.
The internal affairs officers who showed their dedication in eliminating this situation were also duly awarded.
