Cillian Murphy calls himself a fan of Rosalía and Björk
Irish actor and musician Cillian Murphy shared his impressions of the BRIT Awards 2026 ceremony held on February 28 in Manchester.
One of the stars of the evening was Spanish singer Rosalía. She performed at the ceremony and won the award in the “International Artist of the Year” category. On stage, the singer performed the single “Berghain” from her fourth studio album LUX.
The performance turned into a large-scale show. Rosalía was accompanied by musicians from the London Symphony Orchestra and a choir, who also acted as dancers. Another surprise for the audience was the appearance of Icelandic singer Björk on stage. In the original version of the track, she performs one of the choruses.
After that, a remix of “Berghain” by American DJ Conrad Taylor played in the hall. Although the version appeared in October last year, it had not yet been officially released on streaming platforms because the DJ needed Rosalía’s approval. The remix gained popularity thanks to a short video shared online.
Murphy said he was deeply impressed by the performance. Speaking on BBC Radio 6 Music, he noted that he now considers himself a fan of both Rosalía and Björk.
