Chirchik branch of Tashkent Medical Academy is established

The President signed the decision "On measures to further improve the system of training medical personnel for the field of physical education and sports and the provision of medical services to athletes."
The Faculty of Medicine ("Therapeutic Work") established at the State University of Physical Education and Sports of Uzbekistan will be transformed into the Chirchik branch of the Tashkent Medical Academy.

The branch trains personnel in sports medicine and other medical specialties ("Treatment", "Pharmacy", "Pediatrics"), and all types of medical institutions in Chirchik are attached to it as a clinical-educational base.

A model of "Chirchik sports cluster" will be created for comprehensive training of personnel in the field of sports.

Sports doctors, sports dieticians and sports pharmacologists of the state sports and educational institutions receive free training at the Center for the Development of Professional Qualifications of Medical Workers.

Regional branches of the Scientific and Practical Center of Sports Medicine of the Republic will be established in the cities of Nukus, Andijan, Bukhara and Samarkand.
