China unveils humanoid robot head with realistic facial expressions

Chinese company AheadForm has unveiled Origin M1, a prototype of a robotic head capable of mimicking human facial expressions. In the released video, the robot blinks, opens and closes its mouth, and looks around.

According to the company, this bodyless animatronic head was created for “research and interactive experiments.” It has not yet gone on sale and is still in the testing phase.

Experts note that such technologies resemble scenes from the “Black Mirror” series.
