China unveils a bionic hand that can move independently like “Thing” from Wednesday
Chinese company BrainCo has unveiled a new bionic hand at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference. The device can continue moving through wireless control even after it has been detached from the user's body.
The hand receives electrical signals from the user's muscles and nerves. Artificial intelligence instantly analyzes these signals and sends movement commands to the prosthetic. As a result, each finger can be controlled individually and with high precision.
The device was primarily developed to make everyday life easier for people who have undergone arm amputation.
