China to open world’s first AI hospital

Tsinghua University in Beijing has built the world’s first fully AI-powered “Agent Hospital.” It will be staffed by 14 virtual doctors and 4 nurses.
The AI ​​can diagnose, treat, and manage 3,000 patients a day. The system can handle 10,000 cases in a few days—the equivalent of two years of work for a human doctor.
The virtual doctors have passed the U.S. medical licensing exam with a 93% accuracy rate. The hospital will also provide opportunities for medical education.
The project has not yet been fully unveiled to the public.
