China launches world's first 10G network
China has launched a 10G network with a speed of 10 Gbps per user. Manufacturers promise that a two-hour 8K movie can be downloaded in just 70 seconds.
So far, such optical fibers have only been laid in the Xiong'an area near Beijing, and they plan to expand in the future.
