China has created the world's fastest quantum computer

Chinese scientists have developed the world's fastest quantum computer, called Jiuzhang 4.0. The results of the research were published in the journal Nature.
The new device can perform the most complex mathematical calculations in just 25 microseconds. For comparison, the most powerful El Capitan supercomputer in the United States is said to need trillions of years to complete the same task.
Jiuzhang 4.0 works on the basis of light particles - photons. Chinese scientists have developed a new technology that reduces the loss of photons, significantly increasing the efficiency of the system.
According to information, the new model can simultaneously control up to 3050 photons. This is several times higher than the previous Jiuzhang 3.0 model.
