Ingredients
1 kg chicken breast
½ cup vegetable oil
1 tbsp tomato paste
2 onions
5 cloves of garlic
2 red bell peppers
2 green bell peppers
A pinch of black pepper, cumin, and dried mint
10 medium-sized lavash sheets
Some fried potatoes and cheese
For the sauce
1 cup water
½ cup vegetable oil
1 tbsp tomato paste
Black pepper
Preparation
Pour half a cup of vegetable oil into a pan, add the chopped chicken, cover, and cook until the liquid evaporates. Once the chicken is cooked, add the tomato paste, black pepper, red pepper, cumin, and dried mint, and mix well. Then, add the chopped onion and garlic and sauté for a few minutes. Next, add the chopped red and green bell peppers. Cover the pan and cook over low heat until the vegetables soften in their own steam. Cut the lavash sheets to fit your baking dish. Place some of the prepared chicken mixture onto each lavash sheet, then add fried potatoes and a little grated kashar cheese. Finally, roll up the lavash sheets. For the sauce, thoroughly mix water, vegetable oil, tomato paste, and black pepper in a bowl. Spread a little of the sauce on the bottom of the baking dish. Arrange the prepared lavash pieces in the dish and brush the remaining sauce over them. Finally, sprinkle grated cheese on top. Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C until the top turns a beautiful golden color.
Bon appétit! ❤️
