Chairperson of Tomdi District Court Dies in Traffic Accident
Aziza Mirzayeva, Chairperson of the Tomdi District Court for Criminal Cases in the Navoi region, has died in a traffic accident.
The accident occurred on August 15 on the Zarafshan–Tomdi road. According to preliminary information, the Cobalt vehicle Mirzayeva was driving veered off the road and overturned. She died at the scene from severe injuries.
Excessive speed is suspected to be the cause of the accident. The poor condition of the road where the incident took place has also been noted.
39-year-old Aziza Mirzayeva had been serving as the Chairperson of the Tomdi District Court since December 2024. She was a mother of two.
