Central Bank warns of new fraud spread

The Central Bank has warned of a new fraud method spreading through Telegram Ads. Fraudsters are trying to steal the data of citizens in need of money through “instant loan” ads. They are requesting personal and bank card information through a bot called “Crediitum”. This manager account belongs to fraudsters, and communicating with them, providing personal and bank card information and verification codes, or installing malicious “APK” applications on smartphones can lead to the theft of funds on bank cards.
The Central Bank has urged caution with ads on Telegram.
