Central Asian leaders to meet in Astana
On April 22 of this year, the leaders of the Central Asian countries will visit the capital of Kazakhstan, Astana. This was reported by the press service of the Kazakh government. It is noted that the meeting will be held within the framework of the Council of Heads of State of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea. The Fund includes Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. For information, this Council of Presidents is held at least once every three years. The last meeting was held in Dushanbe in 2023, when the President of Kazakhstan was elected the head of the Fund for a three-year term.
