Coal production volumes announced in Sogd

This year, a little more than one ton of this type of resource was extracted in the Sughd region. Coal and chalk production overall amounted to 94.3%. At the same time, coal exports decreased by 9.6%.

Earlier, the region stated that the importance of the extracted volumes of coal occupies a very important place in the country’s energy sector; today, without its use, it is impossible to imagine the development of various sectors of the national economy and society.
