A cat named Charlie, who went missing in 2016, has been found and returned to his owners in Great Britain after 10 years.
Charlie was three years old at the time. His owners, Lucy and Hannah Robertson, searched for him for several months but were unable to find him; they feared he had been hit by a car or had died.
Ten years later, on Lucy’s 30th birthday, the family received a call from a veterinary clinic informing them that Charlie had been found. Local residents had discovered the cat in the bushes and fed him for several weeks before taking him to a veterinarian. Specialists identified the owners via the cat's microchip.
Charlie is reportedly in good health, and his appearance has barely changed. He is currently readjusting to life with his family and their other pets.
