Casting Completed for a Film About Amir Temur’s Childhood

On May 22, the Children’s Content Development Center announced a casting call for the historical feature film Temurbek, which was held from June 4 to June 7. The casting process has now concluded.

Nearly 300 young people aged 15 to 20 took part in the auditions. Director Akbar Bekturdiyev and the film’s creative team selected the most suitable candidates. They will now be approved for appropriate roles based on the recommendations of an expert council.

For reference, project submissions for Temurbek, the first project in the “Childhood of Great Figures” series, were accepted from October 16 to November 1, 2025. Four proposals from four studios were submitted. In the end, the project presented by Cinema of Central Asia was declared the winner.
