Car Hits Girl on Pedestrian Crossing
A video showing a car hitting one of two girls crossing the road at a pedestrian crossing has been circulating on social media. The incident occurred on December 7, 2025, in the Jizzakh region. A vehicle traveling at high speed struck one of the girls and threw her several meters away.
The accident happened due to the driver’s violation of traffic rules. The underage girl who sustained severe injuries died in hospital on December 20, 2025.
A criminal case has been opened in connection with the incident, and the виновному faces up to seven years in prison. The driver has been detained in accordance with the law, and the investigation is ongoing.
