Call of Duty creator Vince Zampella dies in a car crash

Renowned video game creator Vince Zampella has died in a road traffic accident that occurred in California. The tragedy took place on December 21 on a road in the San Gabriel Mountains.

According to police reports, a Ferrari 296 GTS driven by Zampella veered off the road and crashed into a concrete barrier. Following the collision, the vehicle caught fire, trapping the driver inside. The passenger later died in hospital.

A shocking video of the accident has circulated online, showing the Ferrari exiting a tunnel at high speed, losing control, crashing into the barrier and bursting into flames.

Vince Zampella was known as the creator of popular games such as Call of Duty, Titanfall and Apex Legends.
