Representatives of companies from Crimea learned about the pitfalls and peculiarities of trade in the republic, as well as about special support measures
Companies from Sevastopol are interested in bringing their products to the Tajik market.
This became known during the "Hour with the representative" event, in which the trade representative of Russia in the republic, Yevgeny Korenkov, took part.
He told entrepreneurs about the specifics and dynamics of Russian-Tajik cooperation, commercial activities within the country, and also named the methods of support that can be provided to businessmen by the Trade Representation.
"The high export potential of canned fish, medicinal and cosmetic products produced in the region makes it possible to positively assess the opportunities for the development of non-primary exports of Sevastopol goods in Tajikistan," Korenkov said.
The trade representative also expressed hope that the event would help establish a partnership between the business of Sevastopol and the department.
Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry called the volume of direct investment in the economy of the Central Asian region. In 2022, it amounted to more than $3.6 billion.
