Bus fares have increased in Tashkent Region

Bus fares in the cities of Tashkent Region have been increased. This was announced in the decision adopted by the Tashkent Regional Council of People's Deputies on July 20.

According to the decision, the fare is set at 2,000 UZS when paying with a transport or bank card, and 2,600 UZS when paying in cash.

In addition, the following time-based fare plans have been introduced for passengers:

• 1-day pass — 8,000 UZS;
• 5-day pass — 34,000 UZS;
• 7-day pass — 51,000 UZS;
• 30-day pass — 200,000 UZS;
• 90-day pass — 600,000 UZS;
• 180-day pass — 1.2 million UZS;
• 365-day pass — 2.4 million UZS.

A transfer option has also been introduced for passengers paying with a transport card. From now on, passengers pay 2,000 UZS for the first bus, 1,000 UZS when transferring to a second bus within one hour, and no additional fare is charged for any subsequent buses within that same one-hour period.

In addition, information kiosks will be installed gradually in the cities of Angren, Bekobod, Olmaliq, Ohangaron, Nurafshon, Chirchiq, and Yangiyo‘l, and transport cards will be available for purchase at post offices and ATTO operator branches.
