On May 31, 8 people were killed and 33 injured when a passenger bus crashed into a roadside barrier and caught fire in the Denizli province of Turkey.
According to reports, there were 38 passengers and 3 employees on the bus traveling from Izmir to Antalya. Among the dead was a 9-month-old baby. The injured were hospitalized.
In connection with the tragedy, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent condolences to President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, expressed sympathy to the families of the deceased, and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.
