Burak Özçivit and Angelina Jolie to Narrate Stories of Islamic Civilization

The Center of Islamic Civilization, in collaboration with the Uzbekistan Cinematography Agency, is preparing to release over 150 short films and video features dedicated to showcasing the rich history, culture, and legacy of the Islamic world.

One of the project’s most exciting aspects is the participation of world-renowned film stars as narrators.

Among the first to take part is Sir Ben Kingsley, a two-time Academy Award winner known for his iconic performances in “Gandhi,” “Schindler’s List,” “The Physician: The Story of Avicenna’s Apprentice,” and “Prince of Persia.”

Additionally, global cinema icons such as Morgan Freeman, Denzel Washington, Mel Gibson, Burak Özçivit, and Angelina Jolie are expected to join as narrators in upcoming episodes.

This international collaboration aims not only to celebrate the art of film but also to highlight the influence and legacy of Islamic civilization within world history and culture.
