Bulgarian President in Uzbekistan: A New Stage of Cooperation

 

On June 9, Bulgarian President Rumen Radev arrived in Uzbekistan on an official visit at the invitation of Shavkat Mirziyoyev. On June 10, an official welcoming ceremony was held at the Kuksaroy residence.

At the end of the negotiations, the leaders of the two states signed a joint declaration on expanding Uzbek-Bulgarian cooperation. It was agreed to develop joint projects in the fields of trade, investment, IT, pharmaceuticals, agro-industry, tourism, transport and humanitarian affairs.

The Ministries of Foreign Affairs exchanged a cooperation program for 2026-2027 and a partnership agreement between the cities of Tashkent and Sofia.

The visit of the Bulgarian President will continue on June 11 with participation in the IV Tashkent International Investment Forum.
