Brazilians burn Trump
In Sao Paulo, Brazilians burned an effigy of Trump and an American flag in anger over US tariffs.
Trump has announced a 50% tariff on Brazilian imports. He has also accused the Brazilian government of "attacking" US technology companies and demanded that the trial of former President Jair Bolsonaro be dropped.
Brazilian President Lula da Silva has responded by saying that the tariffs will be retaliated against and has called for the country's judiciary to be left alone. Trump's statements have further exacerbated political and trade tensions in Brazil.
