A shooting occurred at a school in the northern Brazilian state of Acre. A 13-year-old opened fire several times in the hallway leading to the principal's office. Two people were killed and several others, including an 11-year-old girl, were injured. The teenager surrendered to police after the attack.
He reportedly used a .380-caliber pistol. His stepfather, who was also the gunman, was also arrested.
