A 10-year-old boy survived after swimming for 17 hours in the South China Sea. On March 22, he fell asleep on a fishing boat and was blown out to sea by the wind. His parents noticed that their child was missing and immediately contacted the police.
The boy was found 17 hours later by fishermen, 30 kilometers from shore, exhausted, with sunburned face, arms and legs. The fishermen fed him milk and bread and handed him over to the police. An hour later, the boy was returned to his parents.
