Bloody school attack in Russia: 15-year-old student kills a child

In a school in the Moscow region, a 10-year-old fourth-grade student, Kobiljon Aliyev, was killed in an attack carried out by a 15-year-old student. The attacker entered the school armed with a knife and a pepper spray canister, fatally stabbed the child, and also injured a security guard and two other people.
The deceased boy was a citizen of Tajikistan and was being raised by his single mother. Following the incident, local residents set up a memorial near the school, and security measures were tightened in schools across the area. Videos circulating on social media reportedly show that the attacker asked children about their nationality before the assault and stabbed Kobiljon, who did not manage to escape. The footage has deeply shocked the public.
Tajikistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the incident, describing it as a hate-motivated attack, and called on the Russian side to conduct a fair and impartial investigation. The attacker has been detained and has confessed to the crime.
